Trade-in
Bring us your good-condition used books and we'll take a look for possible Canary Books store credit.
Accepted books receive store credit only. In general, credit will be around 25%–30% of our planned used-book selling price.
Store credit can be used toward up to 50% of a future Canary Books purchase. So if you have $10 in credit and buy $10 worth of books, you can use $5 in credit and save the rest for next time.
How it works
Drop off anytime, processed once a week. Leave up to 25 books in the labeled trade-in bin while we're open. Fill out the short form with:
- Your name and phone number
- Whether unwanted books may be donated
- Acknowledgment that payment is store credit only
- Agreement that evaluation may take up to seven days
We'll text you once your books are evaluated — something like: "Canary accepted 6 of your books for $18 in store credit. The remaining books can be picked up within a week, or donated."
