Data Deletion

Canary Books uses a Meta (Facebook/Instagram) app only to publish posts to our own Canary Books Facebook Page and Instagram account. The app does not collect or store information about other Facebook or Instagram users, so in most cases we hold no Meta-related data about you.

How to request deletion

If you believe we hold data about you connected to our Facebook or Instagram integration, or you want any of your information deleted from Canary Books' records:

1. Email chris@canarybookswv.com with the subject line "Data deletion request."
2. Include your name and the email, phone number, or Facebook/Instagram username we might have on file, so we can find your records.
3. Tell us what you'd like deleted. If you don't say, we'll delete everything we can.

What happens next

• We'll reply to confirm we received your request.
• We'll delete the matching information from our records and email you when it's done.
• We may need to keep some sales and payment records to meet tax and bookkeeping laws. If so, we'll tell you what we kept and why.

Removing our app from your Facebook account

Our app is not something customers sign in to. If it ever shows up in your Facebook settings, you can remove it at Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites.
